Perrett Construction director Sean Perrett has recently been undertaking the job of foreman for the building of the new Lockwood show home.  Lockwood has been awarded the accolade of New Zealand’s most trusted home builder and Sean was happy to be selected to undertake the completion of this build for them.  This lovely new home will be available for viewing in Christchurch in early 2015.  You may have noticed the development of this build site on the Main South Road in Hornby.  Sean enjoys working with the unique specialized Lockwood building system that makes the homes so strong, durable and earth quake resistant!

We are licensed building practitioners in Carpentry and Roofing but also have a Site 2 qualification which means we have ability to project manage & build complicated projects.

We are also Fletcher’s accredited builders, ready to undertake any repairs and renovation work you may require after the Canterbury earthquakes.

Perrett Construction currently has operating bases in Christchurch and Methven.

Sean grew up locally in rural Canterbury.  He comes from an engineering and military background with training and service as an air craft technician for the Royal New Zealand Air Force working on Iroquois helicopters and military aircraft.  Sean holds a class 2 & 4 small and heavy rigid trucks license (up to ten tonne), forklift endorsement and dangerous goods endorsement and is a licensed building practitioner.  Previous experience and time working in management within the building and construction industry has put him in good steed for his endeavors with Perrett Construction.
